Lunchtime meetings for prayer at the Faith Centre chapel The aim of the lunchtime meetings for prayer is to offer a space for spiritual encouragement, prayer and reflection for staff, volunteers, patients and visitors. The benefits to members of staff and others who attend include 1) drawing spiritual strength from Christian fellowship in the workplace, 2) guidance from the scriptures applicable to work and work-based relations 3) prayers for patients, staff and others in particular need. The benefits to the organisation include 1) pastoral support of individuals, 2) commitment to the organisation and its aims of promoting health and well-being, 3) support for individuals to help them be more effective in their job or role, 4) prayers for staff, patients and matters concerning the organisation. Publicity for the lunchtime meetings for prayer is via the Chaplaincy notice board and the Trust Intranet. Lunch time prayers take place in the Faith Centre Chapel 12.30 each weekday. All Welcome.
