Multi-Faith Topics

Multi-Faith Forums are being set-up all the country and indeed in different organisations. Members of such forums believe that by working together on practical community activities and on lobbying government bodies for policies that will help those most in need, they can achieve more than by acting alone.

As part of the 'Spirituality in the Workplace' agenda, some employers are also coming to the conclusion that it is helpful to provide prayer rooms or 'Quiet Spaces' to allow their employees and customers a better expression of their faith.

Some objectives of Multi-Faith Forums are:

* to promote good relations between different religious and ethnic groups.
* to support religious groups to get further involved in projects to improve the quality of life for all employees
* to help access funds for activities
* to help represent the different groups in discussions with Senior Management.

In this section, we help to build-up a picture of how multi-faith issues are being addressed in the workplace, and whether this is an opportunity for Christians to help transform their workplaces for God and for good.

Please let us know what is happening in your organisations, and share experiences. Below are some articles on the subject. You can also add your comments via our forum (you will need to be logged-in to access this).
