Inspiring Christians to Transform
the Workplace and the Nation...
Dear {recipient.first_name},
Being Caring
Since its inception, Transform Work UK has championed a wide vision for Christian Groups in the workplace. That vision is none other than to transform the organisations we serve. Many of us in Christian groups have adopted this aspiration and pursued it with vigour, often with favour from our employers. To fellowship, Bible study and prayer, we have added both interaction with management, and evangelism or outreach to colleagues. In doing so, we have used a wide range of creative thinking and action. So far, so good! But is there a further role for Christian Groups in pastoral care in the workplace? We believe there often is and the times in which we now live in provide increasing opportunities to fulfil this role.

“Does God Work Here?” 2010
A date for your diaries: Saturday 13 November 2010 at Oasis Church, Portsmouth for the 2010 conference. Large numbers of delegates at last year’s Birmingham conference wanted more for 2010, so, with the strap-line “to energise Christian impact at work” there will be a fresh innovative line-up of powerful inspirational speakers and practical equipping for the workplace Christian and local church leader. For a copy of the flyer click here and here . The full brochure will soon be out.
Are you one of our ‘Ambassadors?’
Transform Work UK have embarked on an exciting new strategy and two key elements of this are: To work with local church leaders in supporting their mission activity and energising Christian impact in their congregation’s workplaces; and to support groups of Christians in the workplace from initial setup to formal recognition and engagement within their organisation. To implement this strategy we are seeking to appoint additional Ambassadors throughout the UK. Click here to find out more about the Ambassador role.

AMBASSADORS!
“And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin,e]"> so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”
2 Corinthians 5: 18-20 (NLT)
