On being threatened with Redundancy
A few weeks ago I had to reapply for my job but unfortunately I did not get it.
When the news went through the building, colleagues came to my desk in disbelief that this could happen. But I wasn’t to disturbed as I know my God is in control – and that’s what I told everybody who asked.
Last week I went for an interview on the same floor where I worked but in a different section under the manager I had worked with before. He knew of my involvement with the fellowship and, to God be the glory. I got the job.
People are now coming to my desk saying that my good fortune 'must be due to your faith'. God did not say “If we go through trials”, but “When you go through trials, I will be with you”.
All we have to do is trust him. |
